I own the Dreamscape Special Edition Blu Ray released in 2010:

UPC 014381648751

I am thinking about buying the Collector's Edition released recently:

UPC 826663171976

Is it worth the double dip? Any significant difference in picture or audio quality, in the bonus materials?

From the reviews at blu-ray.com, the newer release appears to be from a new 2K scan, includes a DTS-HD 2.0 soundtrack and much more bonus material (the bonus material carried over is now in 1080p insted of SD).  Also the original release apparently had interlaced video.

Thank you for your answer. I had read the reviews but I am particularly interested in the personal experience from people who have watched both.

I own both, and the transfer on the newer edition from Shout! Factory is far, far better than that older Blu-ray. The new bonus features are worth a double dip alone.
