I am in Wellington where major damage suffered. I have finally got power back 13hrs later. All well here, and a bit nervy with continuous aftershocks, so no sleep since first quake at midnight.

The Seddon ones we feel the most as the same fault line through Wellington. The Kaikora ones are out to sea mostly, which is what caused the Tsuami. |
