| Posted: | | | | I purchased, installed on my S3 and loaded a shelf of DVD s. The scanner has a 40% failure rate scanning wrong data. And when ever I try to log in it crashes.
Any fix for this?
PS: I bought the app but your forum says i'm not a paid subscriber? |

PS: I bought the app but your forum says i'm not a paid subscriber? To clarify the paid subscriber appears to apply to the desktop program and windows mobile. This seems to be down to the fact those can be bought direct from the site, whereas the other two are bought from their respective app stores. As greyghost suggest you may be able to post in the android forum he's linked to, have you tried this to see if it works? (I can't tell if it's blocked as I own the desktop program). You might want to provide a bit more detail about what you are doing, e.g. what os version are you using, what are you using to scan barcodes (I'm guessing this is what you mean by scanner has a 40% failure) etc... Edit actually the scan data probably means the version you have is in a locality not in the database, but there is a version under that UPC in another locality. So giving us the locality you want vs the UPC of the title would help. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |

| Posted: | | | | I am not able to log in any other forum as it says I am not a paid subscriber.
I am using the built-in scanning feature. I don't see were in can change that.
Anytime I try to login or sync the program crashes and restarts.
Is this android app just meant to be a compliment to the pc app? If I purchased the pc app would I then be able to login? |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, the paid PC version gets you full forum access. Weird that the Android app doesn't, though.
If the Android app is like the iOS app, it will have only a limited functionality compared to the desktop version. Getting that might be a good idea regardless of the forum access issue. |

I guess the forum authentication runs of the desktop (or presumably windows mobile) registration key you get when you buy those apps from here. As far as I can see there is no such key on the iOS or Android versions. It does seem rather unfair on those who have paid for the app, as it makes it harder for them to get tech support. To the original poster, while you can't post there you can read the posts and there is a lot of troubleshooting info that has helped people with your issue, so it's worth a look through and trying the suggestions. Post back here if they don't work. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |

Nice try but clearly you've not read the thread and your android forum link is to a third party site. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |
