Looking at the Unvoted Pending Updates it seems that I own every title someone's attempted to update.  It's not that I have a particularly large collection, so do I only get to see the Updates which would directly affect my own collection?  If so, why?

Invelos db contains +567000 profiles. You really don't want to see all updates for them  And why would you? So yes, you only see updates for profiles in your collection.

My understanding is that you can only vote on DVD you own, since you need to be able to validate the proposed changes.

Yes

Because your collection is online and this is what DVDP use to know what title you own and you can't judge an update if you don't own a dvd (except for some minor area in your wishlist).

Edit : Three answers at the same exact time. Who said we aren't usefull and fast to help

You can vote on anything in your Owned, Ordered or Wishlist. You just have to have the profile uploaded onto your online collection. Don't matter what section it is in.

Correct. In fact, to be more complete, you vote on everything that is in your local DB, including:
- Owned
- Whishlist
- Ordered
- Custom category part of Owned
- Custom category not part of Owned
Provided of course you upload it to your online profile
Blu-ray collection
DVD collection

My Trophies
