Also, I should have it notify me when a certain number of days have passed after purchasing a title and it hasn't been watched!  |

Only problem is, the events you mention are in fact triggered by using the app, so the background process wouldn't have anything to notify you about unless you were in fact using the main app. But keep the ideas coming.
