| Posted: January 16, 2011 8:18 PM | | | | I can connect from my Iphone to download the database, but I cannot synchronize it from the PC app. I have to keep deleting and re-adding databases to get updates from the PC.
When I click the synchronize button I get the following error:
Please make sure your Pocket PC is connected via Mobile Device Manager and try again.

The message you are getting pertains to a Windows mobile device not to the iDevice you want to sync to. If you have set up your database to share on your network Tools-> Options-> Sharing and select share my collection on the network. You should then see an indication in the bottom of the frame that says shared on <compurt name> ( IP adress) and port followed by a connection status ( normally 0 and 1 when sycing). Initiate the database syc from your iDevice and any changes made on either the phone or the desktop should be copied. Do not use synch with DVD Profiler Mobile as this does NOT apply to the iPhone. | | | Tom
