We have the ability to add or not add BY's by checking or not checking the box at the bottom of the contribution page.

I think it maybe a good idea to have the same ability for uncredited cast members.

Right now it's a blanket yes to all or no to all for the uncredited cast for contributions.


Let's say that a user uses another source for uncredited cast, perhaps other sites or books, and has many that can't be visually identified but has a well known actor who is uncredited.

Let's say for example the uncredited looks like this.

Clint Eastwood as Sheriff (uncredited)
Tom Hooks as Man on Street (uncredited)
Will Smith as Bar Singer (uncredited)
Sally Turnapple as Mom (uncredited)

It's fairly easy to identify Clint Eastwood and Will Smith visually, but the two lesser (made-up names of course) isn't.

Per the rules we are supposed to visually identify the uncredited cast members. That's good for well known actors but lesser known actors as shown above isn't.

So just like for Birth Years we could have a checkbox for uncredited cast members. In the uncredited example a user could check the box for Clint Eastwood and Will Smith but not check the box for Tom Hooks and Sally Turnapple.

Something like this. The X denotes the checked box.

Uncredited Cast: Check box for those that you wish to include and include documentation in your notes
