I don't think it is really a feature request, but this was imho the best matching part of the forum.

There was an discussion about the adult/"Porno" rating in locality Germany:
http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=459517

In Germany there just three possibilities how a movie can be rated: an FSK rating, a SPIO/JK rating or it is not rated. Not rated movies are just allowed to sell to Adults. (As FSK18 and SPIO/JK rated movies)

The rules tell to take the rating from the cover. There are no different types on cover for Adult and Not rated.

For Invelos a marking as adult has sense because of nudity, but marking with Genre porn(/adult?) has the same influence on a profile.

As the decision of marking a title as adult (/porn) is a personnel and Invelos (screener) decision, wouldn't it be good to remove the adult rating (which is clearly ruled, but doesn't work in Germany) and just use the Genre (which is as we all know preference) for that?

Imho this would be less conflicting with the rules and match better to the current reason of an adult rating.

Please vote and show your opinions.

(If not clear, of course I'm not speaking for any other localities)

Well it's a good "rating" to distinguish between unrated or FSK18 movies and porn.
And the rules say "Use the “Adult” rating for all Adult films." so it should be used even for German porn.

I could agree, but how do you determine the difference in rating between not rated and porn (adult).
You do it by the Genre?! Should a Genre make a rating?

The standard way is looking at the case
-> If you can see a Info/Lehr, FSK or Spio/JK rating, it gets the seen rating
-> If you can see nothing of the above (and perhaps "Keine Jugendfreigabe", "Dieser Film darf Jugendlichen...."), you choose not rated
-> Now you watch the movie or do a nearer look on the cover and decide it is a horror movie, porn or whatever. -> This is what you choose as Genre. And only if you see it is a porn you change the rating?

"Use the “Adult” rating for all Adult films." -> Wouldn't a movie which is just allowed to be shown and sold to adults, automatically be an adult movie? No matter if porn or something different?
