I'm wondering if someone has created a report that will read the genres as listed by DVD Profiler to enable a person to print reports that can be grouped by Genre.  I've tried LunatiC's Report - Title Color Coded by Genre, which would produce a really nice looking color-coded report, but it doesn't read genres from DVD Profiler.  For instance, I have Babylon 5's 1st genre (in DVD Profiler) as Science Fiction, but LunatiC's Report color codes B5 as Adventure , which won't work for what I need it to do.  I need a reliable 'Report by Genre' which reads the genres as listed by DVD Profiler as opposed to choosing it's own genres, but I'm not capable of creating a report like that myself.  I'll tear computers apart and put them back together all day long, format/reinstall/optimize the OS, but creating reports is most assuredly NOT in my job description...

Does such a report exist?  And is it simple enough to use without generating an ink hungry 500 page report?  If so, THANK YOU!      -kd5-

I think I've found the ability to sort by genre and produce a report from within DVD Profiler.  I'll have to play around with it, see if it will generate what I'm looking for.  Since I'm pretty new at this, I hope you don't mind me coming here and asking (potentially stupid) questions from time to time...         -kd5-

Not at all. As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the primary reasons to even have a forum here.
