it would be very nice to get two new features regarding the loan-feature:
1. If a dvd is loan to someone and you get it back and scan the barcode, it would be very nice if a popup comes up to ask if the status of the dvd should be changed back with date from "today"
2. It would be nice also if you can scan a number of dvds with a barcode scanner and set the "loan to" status of all of them at once to one person (at the moment I have to scan a barcode, set the loan to status manual and then scan the next and so on...)

This is also a good idea for users without a barcode scanner.  I often loan multiple DVDs to a friend simultanously (and receive them the same way) - and find it very annoying to select the same user 10 times. It would be nice if I could "preselect" - either one user do loan to the discs or - the discs I would like to loan (and then select the user). And then: 3.) Often i loan or get my dvds back at one day and am unable to "account" them the same day. So I have to "correct the history" for every single dvd. A Button like "returned yesterday" or something like that (optional "dating" an "loaning action") would be very helpfull. Bye, Simon2. |
