Doing a minor update to Mission: Impossible 2 (097363348740) and in the end credits there are listed Stunt Coordinator, Stuntman for Mr. Cruise, Helicopter Pilot, Pilots, Flamenco Choreographer and Aerial Coordinator. Do they need a credit? I personally wouldn't include the coordinators and choreographer, but the others could get a credit, Pilots are visible, and so the stuntman, but not in an obvious way..They have cameratime if you know what I mean, but the coordinators and choreographer don't. Could they be removed?

It seems to depend on how they're displayed on screen.
If the stunts and pilots blend into the cast list without any gaps or breaks then yes they can be added. So if they're like that and already in the profile I can't see a valid reason to remove them I'm afraid.
The choreographer and aerial coordinator I personally can see being removed, they're not roles we traditionally track, though again how they're seen on screen may be a factor.
Are you able to do screen grabs, I don't have this film?

Here's a screenshot

A little confused, but I don't see the need of the coordinators and choreographer though, but the others could be credited as explained in the first tread.

I'd say in this case everyone who's credited after the Stunt Coordinator is Crew and therefore not to be entered.
EDIT: To avoid misunderstandings: This includes the Stunt Coordinator, of course.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks. They really are continuous aren't they?
Unfortunately the way they're displayed I can't see how we can justify removing them - they are definitely part of the cast list.
Personally I'm with you, I wouldn't them in my profile - but now that they're in the online I think unfortunately we have to leave them.

Edit: just seen Goblin's post. It's an interesting interpretation. If you want to you can try it, but it may not work.

Certainly not to me - never have, and never will. I'm very sorry, but nothing will ever convince me to enter the likes of a choreographer, stunt coordinator or an "Ariel Coordinator" as part of the cast. I couldn't care less whether or not there's a gap - I just refuse to enter them. And if there's no proper rationale to base that refusal on, I'll simply fall back on the fact that the field is supposed to contain the "cast", while these people are clearly "crew".

All in all, I'm with goblinsdoitall all the way.

I'd remove them. I agree they're crew and the separation of the cast beginning with Stunt Coordinator (which is not a part in a movie and definitely not a filmed role) signifies this to me pretty clearly.

Antonio Vargas would be the last cast member I would add.

I can see an arguement for a non-standard cast listing and therefore adding in the roles of Helicopter Pilot and Pilots, but if I were entering this cast in myself, I personally would not add those (and remove them in an edit).

So is it "safe" for me to remove everything under Señor De L'Arena then? or should the credits stay as they are in the profile?

Nothing is ever "safe" around here, but as far as I'm concerned: please do!

Stunt Coordinator is crew in any case, no matter whether it is a continuous list or not.
And thereby the continuity of the cast list is broken, so what comes after Stunt Coordinator is not part of the cast list either.

IMHO the fact that the cast list is broken like this, is not always reason to stop entering cast. Infact, a few days ago I contributed the blu-ray edition of "The New World" (794043-132759) with similar situation.

The ending of the cast credits is, in this order:

- Normal cast listing
- Stunt Coordinator-credit
- Stunt players
- Core warriors

Before my contribution, only the bolded were profiled. I added Stunt players because if Core warriors are regarded as cast here, so really should the stunts - or both could perhaps be left out. Anyway, I contributed as this (bolded) and currently votes are 7 - 0 in favour.

- Normal cast listing
- Stunt Coordinator-credit
- Stunt players
- Core warriors

Of course a cast list can consist of multiple parts. The question of it being one part or more only comes up in connection with some specific rules, e.g. for stunt people. It doesn't imply that obvious real cast could not be entered.
