| Posted: | | | | On May 15th (two days ago) I contributed two new complete Blu-Ray profiles (Il Riccio & L'Ultima Legione). They've been released as DVD (?!?) and ALL the informations (Cast, Crew, and everything else) apart from the cover images are gone... Are there any problems with the contribution system and the new version of the software? Because this is quite odd... | | | The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder (Alfred Hitchcock) |

| Posted: | | | | Before I guess as to what happened here, it may be better if you provide some specifics first. Please give us the UPC/EAN-codes (barcodes) for the blu-ray's you've submitted, and their locality (I guess Italian). That way, we can have a look. Additionally, you might tell us what the status of your contributions is when you look at this page. |

| Posted: | | | | The UPC/EAN-codes are 8-032807-032597 (L'ultima Legione) and 8-031179-928545 (Il Riccio). The status of the contributions is, as I previously already stated, "Released". Italian Editions, as you correctly guessed. | | | The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder (Alfred Hitchcock) | | | Last edited: by EtaBeta |

| Posted: | | | | I've had a look, and I don't see the problem. Both profiles have indeed been accepted into the database, and have you listed as the sole contributor. They seem to contain plenty of data: I see audio tracks, subtitles, video format, features, disc ID's, fairly extensive crew data, and limited cast data (7 cast members for 'Il Riccio', 12 for 'L'Ultima Legione'), and so on. I don't get the impression that anything is missing. Both are also correctly listed as Blu-rays, not as DVD's. I am also unable to find completely empty DVD profiles (with just the cover scans, as you've described) in the database for 'Il Riccio' and 'L'Ultima Legione' - they're just not there. As such, I gather you're talking of your online collection page ( link)? That indeed doesn't differentiate between DVD and Blu-ray - the formatting of those online collections unfortunately hasn't been touched for years, and as such, hasn't been updated to acknowledge the existence of Blu-rays. That would mean nothing went wrong with your contribution - everything is fine in the database itself. Your online collection, however, should display the content for these two discs now that it has been accepted. It certainly does so when I add them to my database, so it should do the same for you. Since it doesn't seem to do that for you, you might want to try to re-upload your database. Assuming all the data is there locally (I'm sure you don't have an empty and locked profile in your local database, right?), then it should really should show on-line as well. |

| Posted: | | | | If the problem is with your online collection, you might try clearing the cache of your web browser. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, the problem is in the online collection but certainly it's not cache related (Firefox, IE, Opera & Chrome all give the same result). I'll try to reupload my collection later, when I'll be back home. | | | The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder (Alfred Hitchcock) |

| Posted: | | | | Just checked your online collection. The problem seems to be located in an outdated upload (May 15th).
The online collection mirrors (except for the cover images) your local database at the moment of your last collection upload. So for refreshing the online collection data (incl. Disc-level data) you'd have to re-upload. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'll try to reupload my collection later, when I'll be back home. My guess is that you neglected to upload your collection after submitting the profiles. Submitting profiles, and getting them accepted, will not add them to your online collection as that is a separate upload. Edit: I see goblins had the same idea. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again.
