| Posted: | | | | looks like ninehours has it correct. Jon Davison should get a producer credit, but not a studio credit. From the crew credit table (bolding mine): Quote:
Role: Producer
Credited as: Producer, Produced by, A [name] Production (excluding company names) | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

| Posted: | | | | How bout that. I was a little confused between my beer drinking. Of course he gets a Producer credit, he's also credited as producer. I was thinking in my head Studio, but my eyes read the producer credits from rules. How embarrasing | | | "What's God?" I don't think so I was just going by the answers to my question in the other thread in which people posted that [Name] Productions was a company credit These have all been added as studio credits in Profiles in my collection by other users Billy Wilder Productions Douglas Cramer Productions Walt Disney Productions Hal Wallis Productions Jerry Weintraub Productions |

| Posted: | | | | Name Productions is a company, nick. that does not mean that A Name Production is also a Company. To different phrases two completely different meanings. There is a big diference between A Production and Productions.
The ones you listed would be Studios. You are trying to equate A Name Production to Name Productions and THAT don't work, two different things altogether. Even worse you are trying to convert A Name Production into a different credit. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

I Never said it was "You are trying to equate A Name Production to Name Productions" I don't believe i did I merely posted that if the credit was A Jon Davison Production = Jon Davison as Producer This would be a Producer credit But if the credit was Jon Davison Productions = Studio This would be a company credit | | | Last edited: by ninehours |

Gotcha now, we be good. the way you worded it I thought you were tryiong to say BOTH were correct. Both are correct. The 's' at the end of 'Productions' makes it a studio. The lack of a 's' at the end of 'Production' makes it a producer credit. pdf | | | Paul Francis San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA |

| Posted: | | | | I didn't think that was what he was saying, paul. <sheesh> Is it that hard to understand. The way he put it together and using exactly the "same" data. I thought he was saying that both would be correct within a given film and that just ain't so. That should even be obvious from my first answer/ What is your problem? Or maybe i should what game are you playing that you come so....no I won't say it. BTW Paul, the questions are rhetorical, I know the answer. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it.
