| Posted: | | | | Hi, usually I wouldn't have asked this question. But with the new rules this seems a bit more complicated than originally thought. Does "Inspired By" still get an OMB credit? If you stick to the wording of the OMB rule it's "NO" If you stick to it's (IMHO quite evident) intention it's "YES" What do you think? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | In case anyone missed it, the discussion regarding the OMB rule change was hereAs I read it it looked to me like the goal was to be an all encompassing rule to make sure nothing was left out. To me that would carry over to inspired by but that is a very uneducated guess and I certainly wouldn't argue it one way or another. |

| Posted: | | | | I still really wish this had been left blank, but since OMB doesn't exist as a credit (as I pointed out in the link that Rick posted [which won't work unless you have access to the Rules Committee forum]), I think that anything that points to a prior source is acceptable. Explain it in your contribution notes. | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | I hope not since there are TV series with both Developed By and Created By credits. | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity |

| Posted: | | | | OK, I think we have a clear tendency (one might even call it consensus).
I'll submit accordingly and let you know about the results. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
