| Posted: January 10, 2010 5:09 PM | | | | I've had DVD Pro installed and running on my WinXP machine for a couple of years almost (if not longer, can't remember) and it has always worked pretty darn well. Recently, it has really slowed down, taking a significantly longer time to load and display.
If I try to resize the window, the application seems to lag 3-4 seconds behind (ie, I move my mouse to resize and the window itself doesn't catch up for a few seconds). If I scroll through my movies, the application still lags behind.
Any reason this would have just started happening recently? All other applications on my PC are running fine. Just DVD Pro that seems to have become very sluggish recently. Thoughts?

- deactivate plugins - use default layout - database repair - hd defragmentation - backup database and make a clean re-installation of profiler
good luck! | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: January 10, 2010 5:30 PM by kahless |

Do you use images galleries, and do you still use 3.5. version? This is also a problem I had with this version, but it totally disappeared with 3.6 beta which is far more quick. | | | Images from movies |
