I'm correcting an entry in the database and stumbled upon the following title:

How should I enter this title in the Original Title field?

The Boogeyman, so that isn't very helpful either.

This is the opening title of the film itself, so should be entered in the Original Title field.

Samuelrichardscott asks the right question.

What's on the DVD's front cover should go into the Title field (rule: "Use the title from the front cover").

What's on screen in the film itself should go into the Original Title field (rule: "Use the title from the film's credits.").

Yes I know, that's clear. That's not my question. I rephrase my question. How should I enter this title in the Original Title field?

Mirror (chi vive in quello specchio?)

I would imagine.  Why would it be anything else?

I don't know. Couldn't find a thing about the use of brackets in titles. Maybe I overlooked something, so that's why I turned to this forum to be sure.

Nothing wrong with asking when you're unsure.

I agree with others as well btw.

I also think that because the brackets are on the screen, they are part of the original title.

It's not brackets [ ]
It's parenthesis ( )

And yes, they should be entered, as they are part of the original title...

I agree about the title but brackets is correct. While you can use parentheses, (rounded) brackets is also perfectly acceptable.
