I'm working on this profile and noticed that on the pop-up menu, you have the option of watching episodes with or without a recap of previous episodes but the thing is, the total runtime for that disc (with Warner BDs, the time code I take is for all episodes on that disc) has a difference of about 1 minutes (and is the same for the other 4 discs) making it a net difference of around 5 minutes. So, do I include these recaps with the total running time?

Now, I'm leaning towards no since it defaults at no recap when you select play, but I was curious about what others thought since I haven't come across this before. Now, I never watched the show when it aired, so perhaps those who have can chime in and say whether or not those had recaps as well.

I always use DVD Decrypter to establish the running time. If there are two streams for the same episode with different lengths (one recap one not) then I use the longer one. If the recap is in another stream then I don't use it. If it's in another stream then your player will most likely start at 0:00:00 again after the recap.

It doesn't go back to 0:00 after the recap, it is included with the overall running time of the episodes. As I said, with them on, I can compare the runtime for the entire disc of episodes. I just checked out the second disc and this time it's a difference of 3-minutes so the overall diff between recap on and off is significant.

And since the the epsiodes are longer with recap, I think they should count into runtime.

Agreed.  (Automatically skipping the recaps is a pretty cool feature, btw.)
