Bonsoir, messieurs,

mais finissons d'écrire en francais avant que l'administration nous punit.

If the title from the front cover is "LE DERNIER COMBAT", what do our french film fans
think is the correct common capitalization?

Love, bbbbb

A little off topic but my first thought was "Thank the Gods that "François" wasn't in the title."

I believe it would be Le dernier combat, but maybe one our French contributors can confirm or correct this.

French rules are usually 1st word capitalized, with the rest being lowercase unless they are proper words like a person or place.

That's only partially correct. If the first word is a definitive article (la, le, les) and the title is not a complete sentence then also the matching noun is capitalised. If between that first article and the the matching noun there are some adjectives those are capitalised as well.

See http://monsu.desiderio.free.fr/atelier/captitre.html and
http://users.skynet.be/typographie/faq/titres.html for more information.

French capitalisation rules can be complicated sometimes.

Therefore in this case it's:
Le Dernier Combat

EDIT: spelling mistakes

BTW Why are you voting 'Yes' when you clearly state that you don't know what's correct?
Your voting note: 'The title on the front cover is all caps, don't know anything about french capitalization rules.'

For the rest of the forum the only change in the contribution is to change the title from 'Le Dernier Combat' to 'Le dernier combat' and the UPC is  5-035822-742239.

EDIT: locality is UK.

Because I always vote 'Yes', I never bother about the correctness of a contribution.

And I surely never took or will take any kind of action to gather information suitable to expand my,
a potential additonal voter's, a contributor's, or even a screener's horizons.

Non, je ne regrette rien.

But you did just that! By bringing this to the forum you expanded the horizon of the contributor's, many forum reader's and probably your own mind.

Did you realize that Invelos keeps track of how people vote and if you always vote yes, your vote will weigh less and less over time until it means nothing.

If you always vote yes, there's no point to voting at all.

I believe the existence of the Invelos Internal User Scoring System™ (IIUSS) is only a rumur.

Even if all these contributions were correct?

And/Or approved?

If I vote 'Yes' and the honourable contributor, whom I trust, withdraws his contribution,
for completely incomprehensible reasons, will my vote weigh less in the future?

Does the IIUSS detect if a voter bothers about the correctness of a contribution?

I could vote 'No' now and then to gain vote weight.

It's not a rumor:

The voting system does track individual accuracy, but there is a cap on vote value.  The net result is that there is a large number of voters with equal calculated vote value.  If you vote regularly, and generally match the evaluator decision, you're in that group.  We have another category of voters who vote "Yes" on literally every contribution.  I honestly don't know why, but to each their own.   Needless to say, their calculated vote value falls to nil and stays there as long as they continue.  This is not to be confused with a user who only votes "Yes", and casts no vote at all if they're not sure.
