Good day, Sirs,

I'm working on a profile and have come across this situation:

a Crew Memver is credited as "Photography" in the opening credits, and as
"Director of Photography" in the end credits.

How do you think should he be added?

Cinematographer?
Director of Photography?
Cinematographer and Director of Photography?

Love, bbbbb

Personally I would go with the superior DoP from end credits.

I personally only take any notice of the opening credits if there is someone there who does not appear in the end credits.

This was covered in a thread yesterday, did something change? Why would you treat crew data any different from Cast data. The same logic applies.

What the first 4 replies said; I think it's only logical to follow the specifics of the rule set down for cast for the crew where any potential conflict appears.

(Oh dear, I mentioned the word logical; that's torn it!  )

Yes, very humorous indeed. Hysterical, in fact.

I agree with all of you.

Save that Invelos doesn't:

(the situation was that the contributor changed the existing crew member "Director of Photography"
from end credits to "Photography" from opening credits)

Only poor bbbbb argued and voted against the change (and so then was degraded by Invelos' internal voter scoring system for not following the choice of the other voters).

This quasi-official statement by Invelos gives the opening credits priority. Please comply with it.

The same applies to the similar situation in the simultaneous topic.

This is not a quasi-official statement by invelos, it is a mistake by the screeners.  As with Skip, I would correct it immediately with very detailed notes.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
