Actual problem: I wish to add the database of my son into my database
to have his movies too.

Open your DB and chose File->Restore DB
Choose not restore it fully but to select certain profiles. Then select all of them. Restore. Done.
To be on the save side, make a backup of your own DB before attempting to restore your son's DB. | | | Karsten
