| Posted: | | | | What are people's thoughts on certain (mainly Warner) Blu-ray titles that have "Digital Copy (BLU-RAY LOGO) Special Edition" on the banner at the top and these are entered as "Digital Copy Special Edition". I was going to submit what I have without the Digital Copy part but wasn't sure. Example: |

| Posted: | | | | I would say if there is two Special Edition versions one with the Digital Copy one without then use "Digital Copy Special Edition" to distinguish them if not then i would just use "Special Edition" |

| Posted: | | | | There isn't, although Warner seems to be re-releasing certain BD titles (like Body of Lies) later sans the digital copy, but those don't have the slip covers and the same artwork underneath (cheaper that way for them). I'd have to check, but I think they have the same UPC as well. |

| Posted: | | | | The standard has always been, rightly or wrongly, to copy it from the case. So, if the case reads, "Digital Copy Special Edition"...even if there isn't another version out there...that is what gets entered.
The logic, at least from what I can tell, is that this future proofs the profile so that, if/when a different version is released, this one doesn't have to be updated. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I see two separate entries divided by the blu-ray logo, one pointing out a feature (digital copy), one referring to the edition (special edition). |

| Posted: | | | | I think I would enter exactly what was on the cover. That would then avoid guess work. Just because the logo could be seen as splitting them up, that isn't necessarily true & certainly isn't always the case. |

| Posted: | | | | Well, if you like Special Edition, it becomes a partial Contribution to those who see DC: SE. Like wise if someone then DC: SE, the gray area says it's Ok, but that doesn't you mean you have to accept it locally. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

As with 'Widescreen' and 'Fullscreen', it can always be deleted by those that don't want it. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
