It would be wonderful to produce a report with a restricted range.

eg. Select all entries in an alphabetic list between A - B

or: Select all entries in a list sorted by Purchase Date, between 1-Jan-2008 and 31-Dec-2008
etc.

Thanks to private response:

The use of sorting, in conjunction with "Flag Above" and "Flag Below" does indeed allow the granular selections I was looking for.
