18 rating does not and should not equal adult.

I made a big order, checked that i ordered all i wanted from my wishlist, as i wasnt doing the order from home. Came back home and realised i left out a bunch of titles ive been going to buy for ages. All because they were rated 18. My wishlist shouldnt even show to anyone else. This should be fixed.

I'm trusting this program to have a better memory then i have, its starting to lose that reliability.

You have to remember that the website is U.S. based and Ken has to follow the laws here.  So, while 18 may not equal adult where you are, it might here in the states.  I am not positive, but I am willing to bet that is the issue.

You can bypass this feature by checking the box under 'Show In Private Listing:'.

That is prefectly understandable to me, but there should be a way to please everyone. Even if we had to impliment those warnings again (which i have a vague memory we had in IVS's online listing?)

As is evident. But i'm sure there is a solution that you could settle with, too.

The Intervocative online collection used to be able to differentiate between high-rated and adult titles. All Whispering (and quite a few others over the months) is asking for is a return to that system.
If there has been a change in US law that required this change, then all Ken has to do is say: "sorry, can't change it" and we would know!

In fact, I have three 18 rated movies ("Caligula", "Ken Park" and  "9 songs"), and they normally appear in my online. So I do not really where lies the problem of whispering. I think that checking the right box somewhere in  options must solve his problem.

I also have a number of 18 titles from different localities and they all show up

Look for
Highlander (FSK-18, Germany)
Starship Troopers (18, UK)
Tanz der Teufel (R18+, Australia)

Surfeur must be correct. I have 2 adult titles in my collection, and even they are in my online.

There are 2 flags:

Show In Public Listing and Show In Private Listing. In both sections, I've enabled adult.

I can't find any titles missing from my online collection with these settings.
View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

I am guessing that Whispering has both flags unchecked.  All he should have to do is check the second flag.

Not necessarily, the on-line collection shows that I have Timecop rated 18, which I purchased recently, but it did not appear in my recent purchased listing at the time of purchase. Yet my settings are to allow 18’s and adult to be shown.

Steve

Ken once confirmed that the "recent purchases" list actually filters 18+ titles out. But that's independent from the actual online collection.

I can not make the online to show all my titles, it would show my adult titles which i like to keep private. Its ironic that i would have to show the very thing, the system is trying to prevent, to make it work properly.

Have you tried this :

In Tools>Options >Parental control :

Adult title definition : choose the option by rating age: put cursor on 20. On local, 18 rated titles should not be considered as adult. When uploading the collection online, it perhaps keeps that option.

Unfortunately I don't think it does anymore. It used to, but now it only goes by highest rating.

Edit: yeah, I've just tried. I set my adult rating to 21 and uploaded my collection online, but when I hide adult titles, all my 18 rated films still disappear.
