Hi,

I don't know if someone proposed this idea already but I think it would be extremely useful if I could click a button and DVD profiler looks up the current price of the DVDs on my wishlist at Amazon (or other online shops).

Often, I'm in the situation that I want to buy a new DVD from my wishlist and I don't know which one I should choose...

What do you think?

There was something like this back in the intervocative days... but it was removed. If I remember right... I remember being able to set my preferred online retailer and it gave the price right in the profile... not even having to click a button for it. I think you could even order it right from dvdprofiler? not sure about that one.

But yeah... would be nice if something like this was put back into the program.

A www.dvdpricesearch.com/ search would be nice.

Although that may be a good side for "that side of the pond", it's no good for elsewhere. Perhaps it would be better to be a customisable option so you could set whichever your favourite DVD/Blu-ray price comparison site is.

Not exactly a button click but you could create an HTML window using this code:

<HTML>
<HEAD>

<SCRIPT TYPE="text/javascript">
<!--
<DP NAME="HEADER_VARS" Language="JavaScript" Comments="True" IncludeCast="False" IncludeCrew="False">
//-->
</SCRIPT>

</HEAD>
<BODY>
<script>
document.write("<a href='http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_ss_w?__mk_de_DE=%C5M%C5Z%D5%D1&url=search-alias%3Ddvd&field-keywords=" + DP_Title + "' target='blank'>Amazon Suche</a>")
</script>

</BODY>
</HTML>

This will search the DVD section on Amazon.de for whatever's in the Title field of the selected profile.
