Hi,  I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but the actor Terry O'Neill is represented by a female headshot.  I have a correct picture of him but dressed in a gi (he is a Karate expert).
This actor appears in Dragonheart, Entrapment, The Football Factory etc  I would like to remove the picture from at least my database and replace it with a correct one.  Any idea how?

Many thanks.

You can right click on a photo (or if one isn't linked, the spot where the photo should go) and you should have some Copy/Paste options.

Use the graphics program of your choice to select the picture you want to link to the actor then right click on the existing photo and select Paste.  You can drag the picture around some to center it.

Note that while the program provides places for headshots they are never contributed.  So whatever you do with them for your self is OK.

And for some real fun double click on a picture and you will start a Google photo search.

Download my updates over here.

First upload Headshots_v4-addendum-v10b.dpb, the other updates are named by month, just process them in the correct order, and you will have dozens of corrections and hundreds of new images.

There is a forum topic on headshots over here.

Thanks for the prompt replies.  Just a few further questions,

Tweeter.....If headshot pictures are not contributed, why are they included with profiles that are downloaded?  Does this mean that any headshots I change or add will be available to any other user with the same film that downloads a profile?

Cvermeylen.....The link to the updates did not work, I will try again later.

Thanks again.

No headshot images are downloaded - as far as I know.

But in you local database every actor exists only once. So if you add a headshot to him/her, you'll see it in every movie he/she is starring.

I don't recall whether the original headshots came with the program or i picked them up from the headshot database but they are definitely not tied to a profile but to the actor/crew database.  The actors are linked to the profile and that's how the photos link.

You got them from somewhere else.  Ken has been very careful not to distribute headshots with the program because of the multitude of opportunities for copyright infringement.

I just checked my sharing space, and the files seem to download just fine. Have you tried downloading them again?

You can set different actor headshots for each profile with the 'Paste Custom' feature in the cast information dialog or by copying a jpg file in the correct directory. See also here:

So any picture you add to a cast/crew member locally will just remain in your database?  What happens when you upload a new contribution....are any cast/crew pictures ignored?

Tweeter....So no headshots are distributed at all when you update profiles from Invelos?

Gardibolt....More than likely...I have been away for quite awhile and really cannot recall how they appeared

Cvermeylen....Yes thanks....all files now installed

Just like anything in your "Notes" section or other "Personal Information."  The upload totally ignores whether you have a headshot or not.
