| Posted: | | | | How would any of these be credited (if at all)?
From the end credits
Robocop Designed and Created by Rob Bottin
ED-209 Sequences by Phil Tippett
ED-209 Crew Designed and Created by Craig Davies, Peter Ronzani Visual Effects Harry Walton
I'm not sure if Rob Bottin should get a Creature Design, Special Effects Makeup, Makeup Artist or a Visual Effects credit.
ED-209 Sequences by sound to me like a Visual Effects credit since it's a stop motion effect.
The ED-209 Designed and Created by credits has me leaning towards either a Creature Design or a Visual Effects credits.
Any thoughts, suggestions?? |

Phil Tippett should be entered as Visual Effects since he used stop motion techniques to create the illusion of movement. Craig Davies and Peter Ronzani should be entered as Creature Designers. Harry Walton should be entered as Visual Effects. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

| Posted: | | | | I'd say that Robocop Designed and Created by Rob Bottin is more along the line of Creature or Costume Design than Make-up Effects. Since suit is more or less a costume, I'd lean towards Costume Designer for that credit. The others, I agree with Martin. | | | Kevin |
