My 150 character No vote wasn't sufficient.  I needed to write more so here goes.

Multiple name changes are being made to a Fifth Element (UPC: 043396-824096) profile linking multiple versions of cast names.

1) without proof they are the same persons -and-
2) just plain incorrectly

Example:
Quote:
Currently As Credited: Omar Hibbert Williams

Proposed change: Omar Williams [Omar Hibbert Williams]

Justification: Omar Williams=28/47, Omar Hibbert Williams=8/31.

That is all, no proof they are the same person.  I looked in the CLT and find most of Omar Williams credits are for The Fifth Element (and a handful of Adult titles) so odds are Omar Hibbert Williams Fifth Element credits are mixed with Omar Williams Adult titles and those incorrect Fifth Element profiles should be fixed instead of invalidly linking this profile to them.

I sampled a couple more proposed name changes and also find incorrect Fifth Element credits skewing results, and again no justification for the changes other than some obviously wrong CLT information.

The Credit Lookup Table is where you start your research, not where it ends.

Thank you, i feel better.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

I agree, tweeter. I can't wait for the day,and it will come, when one these name assumptions bites us in the tush. First you MUST document that Name A and name B are the same person.

Agreed.  This is the main reason I don't even bother with the 'credited as' system.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Just voted "no" on a submission for Foxy Brown.  Ed Knight was being changed to Edward Knight [Ed Knight], with some lovely CLT support.  Only problem is Ed and Edward really are two different people.
