I just bought the box Season one of the TV series "Happy Days". The box is already contributed with the UPC number of the box, with three discs. But since each disc is packaged seperately in a thinpack case with it's own unique cover (but without UPC), should I then re-contribute the box with the UPC number and each disc using its Disc ID ?

You definitely can do it that way. For TV Series the rules state you can break TV Boxsets to disc level but it is not mandatory. But if you do... you still leave all the information in the parent profile as well for those that do not like to go down to child profiles for TV Series sets. You do however add the boxset content to the parent profile so that the program can ask someone if they want to add child profiles when they download the parent.
