Not in a $30 database called DVDProfiler, there may be this capability added beyond the basic Program and at added cost no doubt. It's a database not a media player, I thin one of the users has developed a plug-in which might help you. Beyond that, such programs are available and some of them even license Profiler's data, but you won't buy them for anything like $30. What I am suggesting is that you wanbt a bit much for $30.

The last one I saw that was licensing our data was several hundred dollars, and is set up in modules, I don't bookmark them, unfortunately But this one was hugeand could utlimately cost nearly a thousand dollars dependin on exactly what you wnated to have.

I'm curious about exactly what you mean here. The literal capability that you mention in fact already exists - that is the definition of a media extender. You can access any PC on your network, thereby you can access the one on which DVD Profiler is installed. I would be interested to understand the scenario you have in mind. In other words, what feature of DVD Profiler are you requesting?

I am aware of at least two Media Center programs that use DVDP data to show DVD profile information and access local DVDs and other media from the network. They import DVDP XML, and in one case, the LoadDVD format for identifying a media file is also used.

Open Media Library will work with an Media Center extender as far as I am aware. It does require a Vista or Windows 7 box as the main media center system.

The import to OML from DVD Profiler is not automated enough for my taste, but I hope to improve this sometime early this year

I doubt it (though it will obviously support media stored on WHS). MCE is Microsoft's platform for media playback, and WHS simply does not have the needed functionality (it can't run the GUI on an extender as far as I know). Hopefully Microsoft will consolidate the functionality in the future, but until they do MCE is the only obvious choice for media playback using Microsoft technologies.

Not really. Deticated Media Center system (which is recommended) are typically not shy on storage.
