Different disc id's, but everything else seems the same?

I was going through one of my dvd's (To Kill with Intrigue, UPC 082551723928) to see if I could find anything to add to the crew credits since it was pretty bare. But I put the DVD into my DVD drive, Profiler said it wasn't recognized, which I thought was strange. So looking at the disc id's what is in the database it completely different then what's on my disc. The covers are the same, although the overview on the back cover is completely different as well. Has anyone else ever come across this?

Yeah... it happens all the time... which is why we have this in the Contribution Rules...

If your Disc ID differs from the Disc ID in the main database, you may change it and re-contribute it if you are doing a wider contribution, but don't make a specific contribution for this reason. All Disc IDs will be stored in the main database for a future development of DVD Profiler.

It's a locality issue.. Check the locality of the said disc,, and you can either change the location,, or contribute the one you have..
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Could be. Mine might have slight differences for Canada. Oh well, I just contributed the crew info & left the disc id as is.
