I have a DVD "Wide Sargasso Sea" and it has both NC-17 and R rated versions on one disk one side which version should I show in the rating section of the of the contribution?  The existing contribution listed NC-17, I've looked in the rules and it only sites NR will take the top spot but nothing about the other ratings.  I've tried to search the forums but I could only find discussions about foreign ratings.  Please help I think the higher rating "R" should be listed, I have some disagreement on my contribution and I would like to get it corrected.

"R" is not the higher rating "NC-17" is, and should be the one listed.  The highest rating on the disc should be reported.

R = No one under 17 admitted without an Adult
NC-17 = No one under 17 admitted
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Agreed.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

R is only the higher rating alphabetically.

Value wise, NC-17 is higher, more restrictive, and the one to be reported as the others have said.
