To be honest, tim, i don't recall there ever being a GP rating through the MPAA, but that is going back almost 40 years. The premise stands nonetheless, as it dioes come up with people attempting to align two different versions in various ways.

Actually, the rules on ratings specify quite clearly to use the rating shown on the cover, with no mention of any other possible source, and the instruction to use "NR" otherwise. Having said that, in this particular case I would personally go with "PG" as well. I'm not sure whether there's an on-screen rating, and if so, what it says. SgtDetritus007 will have to answer that.

Did you actually succeed in changing it to "GP" locally? I tried, but it seems to vanish upon saving. It would seem that it's just not possible to enter a custom value into the ratings field.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, but it would really help if you actually read the post before replying. SgtDetritus007 already explained about the "GP" rating in his post, and he referred to mpaa.org and filmratings.com. You then start out with a completely meaningless answer at first ("Each title and each version stands on its own and so does its data"), and then follow it up by saying "I don't recall there ever being a GP rating through the MPAA" and "there is and has never been a GP rating". None of that was helpful, and I can't help thinking none of it would have been necessary if you'd have taken a closer look at his question. Now we're just filling pages with nothing... 

I'll try to handle this in a more concise manner: since it's impossible to enter a custom value into the ratings field, the question boils down to whether this should be entered as "NR" or as "PG". Well, based on what I see at mpaa.org, and the fact that UPC 085391-518327 uses "PG" as well, I feel it's more appropriate to list this as "PG" rather than "NR".
