Am I correct when I enter the info (including the cover scans) of the original release instead of the re-release if the UPC code is the same?

http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=contributionnotes&type=DVD&ProfileUPC=8711983450127.9

The first time I contributed my corrections I got one no vote, so my contribution was declined. The second time I elaborated even more on why I corrected this profile. My contribution still got declined: "Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions."

I explained all my contributions and I did suplly the sources! I didn't even get a no vote

What to do next?

Did you contribute anything other than the rating, MP and cover scans?
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Do it step by step.
contribute the covers first:
Replacing DVD cover with Original Release Cover
quote this message so you can copy this line above with [ b ] Orginal Release [ / b ] and paste it in your contribution note.
Don't submit the quoted message to the forum, but turn your browser page back!!!

When the cover is accepted, see if you can admit your other changes.

I disagree! The screeners have enough to do already, and we shouldn't flood them with several submissions of the same title if we can avoid it!

I see your point & generally agree. However in some cases it may be better to split them up to better explain what you are trying to contribute. The screeners are only human after all so if it's a more complicated contribution, then having fewer parts to look at may be easier for them.
