I just got done doing a full crew extension for The Astronaut's Wife (79404349062) and of course it raised a couple questions by wording of credits. I'm leaning towards no for these guys, but will bring it to the masses to see for sure.

Under the header of "Special Effects Make-Up Artists" there is:
Mark C. Yahger - Studio Manager
Mitch Coughlin - Project Supervisor

in another spot there is:
Special Effects Foreman - Brian Tipton

yet one more, under a "Visual Effects" studio header:
Executive Producer - Lee Berger

I gave Lee the credit already although I'm unsure if a Executive Producer deserves it. Don't EP's just put up money to get their names on the screen, or get credits as favors?
I left everyone else off for now but will wait for a few replies before submitting the profile work I did.

I would say 'no' to all of them.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

There are tons of special effects job titles we would not credit. Some I have run across recently:
Executive Visual Effects Supervisor
Senior Visual Effects Supervisor
CG Supervisor
Physical Effects Supervisor
Visual Effects Art Director

I do use VFX (shorthand for Visual Effects) or DFX (same for Digital Effects) but only if the remainder of the credit is in the list.

I agree with Unicus, That none of those should get credited.
