There are always going to be linguistic oddballs and even some significant languages that do not appear in current options either as audio or subtitle. For example Brazilian Portuguese, Castillian (as spoken in South America), Taiwanese etc. Rather than pressing Ken for constant updates with no end in sight, why not allow the entry of what is missing in the same way we can do with roles in cast: Just allow a blank space that can be typed over. (We could also do this for audio tracks where there are far too many not listed). This might give results open to debate but it could hardly be less useful than "other". We might well get Geordie or Yorkshire or evenTexan, Canadian French or Saami but that is the point. These minor and not always so minor needs can easily be catered for. I have not touched on variations in Arabic and the mind boggles if we go into Spanish and Chinese dialects!
Incidentally strictly speaking Bahasa is just a word in the Indonesian group of languages that means 'Language'. It should be followed by the language itself, Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Melayu for example. If we are going to use English as the standard for language listing then Bahasa should perhaps be changed to Indonesian as this is the major lingua franca in that area. All this would save Ken a lot of heart ache and satisfy almost anybody.

Because that, we has proposed change the system. And is interesting also, can detail the type of audio.

One example, the next Wall-e in BR in spain, will have two coments, but there are the same coment. One is original comnent, and the other is a dubbed document.

We also need some similar for subtitles, because can be subs in one language, one for VOS, other for earing people, other for only song in dubbed musicals...

Of course what Fharlock says is a point of view. The problem is that the current list is very badly out of date and just dealing with current missing items there is an immediate need to add at least 10 languages and perhaps 20 subtitles. The list is just getting too big! Keep what we have but allow for specialist discs to be correctly listed. I have one DVD in Saami for example, there may never be another! Why can we not provide for these small guys. As for South American versions of Spanish and Portuguese being ommitted, well what more can be said! Looking to the future it is going to get a lot more inconsistent unless we change the system. Ken needs to find an answer if the data base is to be both accurate and reasonably easy to correct. Cheers
