| Posted: | | | | I've just received my UK copy of "The Complete Matrix Trilogy" on Blu-ray, and the included "The Matrix Reloaded" has the same, identical EAN as "After Hours" [7321900115285] What do we do in this situation? I can make a Disc-Level profile, but anyone looking for the profile will still probably get the wrong film. | | | You can download higher resolution versions of any of my cover scans from here |

| Posted: | | | | My copy is in the post at the mo. , but I think the disc-level profile is the only solution, perhaps add something in the contribution notes of the boxset to indicate the duplicate EAN?

| Posted: | | | | i would say this is a manifacturing/printing error. I can't believe Warner is giving ther releases the same EAN twice | | | regards, Mad -

| Posted: | | | | You could always contact Ken and see if he will add it with the EAN as one's a DVD and the other a Blu-ray he might do it?
Never mind i see you have already contributed with disc id | | | Last edited: by ninehours |

| Posted: | | | | Is 'After Hours' also an UK edition? If it's not you'll be able to have a duplicate EAN on the database as long as they're from different localities. If both are UK then it's very strange. It's most likely some error that's prone to create difficulties to the stores if they have both titles up for sale. | | | With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress. |

| Posted: | | | | Both are United Kingdom locality, so it's very strange. Possibly a printing/manufacturing error, as suggested. Yeah, one's a DVD and one's a Bluray, but not sure the system will differentiate the two. I don't have Ken's ear, so not sure how best to reach him I've submitted it as a Disc-ID profile for now, but can always re-submit it as a EAN if at all possible. But doesn't look likely | | | You can download higher resolution versions of any of my cover scans from here |

| Posted: | | | | I think I will wait for more people to get hold of their copies and check the EAN. Then see if it is a batch problem or something bigger If those with pre-orders can post back your EANs when they arrive, that would be great Quote: The Complete Matrix Trilogy - 7321900220453 The Matrix - 7321900115308 - 6EDEA3D3A4541617 [THE_MATRIX] The Matrix Reloaded - 7321900115285 - E50E45BC386B2647 [MATRIX RELOADED] The Matrix Revolutions - 7321900115292 - 8DCE667B7FFA9BF4 [MATRIX_REVOLUTION] | | | You can download higher resolution versions of any of my cover scans from here |

| Posted: | | | | Did not turn up in the post today , but notice that Play did honour the misprice that was shown when the pre-release was first offered so got the entire blu-ray boxset for £14.99 which I think was a reasonable bargain Dave... |

| Posted: | | | | Dave: that's certainly a steal mine wasn't that cheap lol I have news back from Support Quoting Invelos Support: Quote: This does occasionally happen, although it is thankfully rare. The online database will keep the original title. You can add the new title by disc ID. So DiscID it remains Still curious to know if it's just my set, or everyone's. | | | You can download higher resolution versions of any of my cover scans from here |

The thread starter had asked me (via PM) to post the EAN code of "Matrix Reloaded" once I have received my copy of the box set. Well, I got it today and can confirm that the EAN is indeed "7321900115285". Is is obvious that Warner has messed up big time here. Not only have they used a duplicate EAN (see above), but also they did include "German 5.1" erroneously in the list of sound tracks on the box set cover. This led many German users to order this box in the UK, who are now utterly disappointed. While Warner seems to have a good reputation in the US, in Germany they are being considered the worst of the major studios for quite some time now (after having released lots of DVDs in questionable quality). This unnecessary problem here certainly doesn't help... | | | Michael | | | Last edited: by TigiHof |

A double xx xx because they didn't advertise "Japanese 5.1" but did include that | | | You can download higher resolution versions of any of my cover scans from here |
