I'm currently entering a CoO United Kingdom DVD. In the credits, there is an O.B. Sound credit and a Studio Sound credit. How do I enter these? Should they both get "just" a sound-credit?

Also, there is a designer-credit (the credits doesn't seem to be grouped in any way) - it is safe to assume that this is a production designer?

You don't see a provision for either of those credits in the REules or the Program so, relative to Contriubutions you Don't. However 3.5 has aq new Custom Credit for each job grouping AND a Custom Grouping in 3.5 you could enter these just as you nsee them On Screen. It would not surprise me if these will be personal listings and not-contributable when the time comes, Ken probably mentioned it but I missed it, I now have something to look for.

No I don't. Also I do not see "Forfatter" anywhere, but they still get credited as Writer, as Forfatter is just the Danish word for this...

That is why I mentioned that is was a CoO United KINGDOM production, as I have seen some examples of calling the same credit different things in "The Queens English" than what the Americans call it, and that was kind of the basis for my question - if this is one of those things that are credited differently depending on which side of the pond you're on...

It could be, Rander, and that i will bow to others but on a straight up Rules read I would say no. I haven't decided yet, but that opinion MAY become stronger with the new Custom fields, simply list as you see it.

In the UK we tend to credit Production Designers as Designers, so that one should be ok to add.

The sound ones are more complicated, and depend on the other credits but generally Studio Sound would refer to a sound mixer, OB Sound would generally refer to a location Sound Recordist. But their meanings can change.

Also the UK uses "Sound Recordist" instead of  "Production Sound Mixer" as you would see in US films.

I think I'll just leave them out for now...

Ken indicated in the announcement thread of that beta build that custom crew will not be contributable.
