Opinions on a cast credit change before I contribute, or don't contribute, depending on the results (Part 2)...

I'm considering changing the credit in "blade Runner" of Kimiro Hiroshige to common name Kimiko Hiroshige "credited as" Kimiro Hiroshige for the following reasons:

Credit Look reports 6 distinct titles with Kimiko Hiroshige (not including Blade Runner)

Around the World in 80 Days (uncredited on-screen but credited as Kimiko in the profile)
M*A*S*H: Season 3: Episode 23 (uncredited on-screen but credited as Kimiko in the profile)
M*A*S*H: Season 6: Episode 1 (credited on-screen as Kimiko Hiroshige)
M*A*S*H: Season 6: Episode 5 (credited on-screen as Kimiko Hiroshige)
Happy Days: Season 3 Episode 23 (credited on-screen as Kimiko Hiroshige)
Honk Tonk Freeway (I don't own this title. Therefore I don't know the on-screen credit)

Credit Lookup Reports 1 distinct title with Kimiro Hiroshige

Blade Runner (credited on-screen as Kimiro Hiroshige)

I believe, based on the CLT, that Kimiko Hiroshige should be the commonly credited name and that "credited as" should be used in her "Blade Runner" credit. Please click this link to view screen caps of Kimiko Hiroshige in the above mentioned titles and decide whether or not my prospective change has merit.

Thank you for your time.

I'd say you've got it right.

As you documented.
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

Works for me.

When i submitted the Blade Runner profile change to As Credited last weekend i couldn't find creditable info on the web indicating Kimiro = Kimiko.  It seemed logical but i couldn't prove it to my satisfaction.

You've done the leg work.  Thanks.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Great research, just updated my "Blade Runner" profile.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'd like to thank all those that have participated in the poll and the comments left in this thread. It looks like it's unanimous and I've gone ahead and made the contributions to Blade Runner: Director's Cut and Blade Runner: Limited Edition Gift Set.

Thanks again .
