I am currently profiling ST-TAS R2 Dutch, and I have a divider question.

This box contains Season 1 and Season 2. I added a divider for each episode as indicated in the rules. I would also like to add a divider called "Season 1" and "Season 2" to list the episodes per season.
Is this allowed, or should I remove them before contributing?

Thanks,
Chris

Cver:

I haven't gotten there yet. Does the Season change in mid-disc. If so it sounds perfectly reasonable to me, I can see the advantage to this idea. Maybe I'll pull mine tonight and take a look.

No, I think that's fine.
I did something similar with a Blackadder boxset, using a divider to notify season, then dividers below for each episode.

The rules aren't specific enough about what to use dividers for. Personally, I wouldn't add dividers to separate seasons but I wouldn't vote against them either. I'm working on cast and crew for the Complete Fantastic Four animated series now and only I list the episodes.

Skip,

I am going through the episodes of Season 1 for the moment. The seasons are not indicated on the DVD's. I just found the airdates on www.tv.com.
S1 ran from 9/8/73 - 1/12/74
S2 ran from 9/7/74 - 10/12/74

I know this is sort of 3rd party info, but I'm not exactly taken data from it besides the fact that originally there were 2 seasons.

I have used additional dividers for seasons in the past (e.g. Seinfeld: Season 1+2 set) and only got yes votes on those and they all got accepted.

If you go here you will find the episodes airing dates.

The Jihad was the last episode in Season 1, and The Pirates of Orion was the first episode of Season 2.

And it isn't third party information. At least I hope not.

Seinfeld: Seasons 1& 2 is currently setup that way; having additional dividers for Season 1 and Season 2 in the Cast list, I mean. That is for the parent profile, of course.

Unless the season change is mid-disc, as Skip inquired, I don't see a need for those dividers for the child profiles, which, by the way, the child profiles for Seinfeld also don't have.

Yep, the season change is on disc 3, it contains episodes 13-17, with episode 17 being the start of season 2.

I hope to finish watching and profiling by the end of the week.

Chris, then I'd say add those Season dividers, even in the child profiles. In the end, you'll see what the voters think (I don't own this particular set).

I did that in the Seinfeld Season 1 & 2 season sets and it went over pretty well. It does help, so you could start the episode re-numbering.
