I have an iQue M5 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE.  I have downloaded the software three different times tonight and attempted several attempts to install the software.

The Microsoft .NET CF 2.0 installs with no problem.  However, when it comes to installing the program itself, I get the following error code every time.

APPLICATION MANAGER CANNOT INSTALL THIS APPLICATION ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE DUE TO AN INVALID SETUP FILE.  REINSTALL AND TRY AGAIN.

How can I correct this error to get the program to complete the installation?

I am installing from the desktop and using Sync to transfer during installation to the device.

Thank you

I've seen this problem before using different kit etc. so I'm unable to provide a specific answer. However, my solution involved me having to upgrade to ActiveSync 4.2.0(4876). An ActiveSync (and all its inherent problems) upgrade may be worth investigating

I own an iQue M5 myself and haven't had any problems.  I know it doesn't help, I'm only saying this to confirm that there's no compatibility problem here, DVD Profiler Mobile does work on this device.

Personally, I would use Sprite to backup the device on a SD card, reset it with the button at the bottom (not a hard reset) and try again.

I should think so... the Readme file that comes with Mobile Profiler specifically says:

DVD Profiler Mobile requires: ... Microsoft Active Sync version 4.2 or higher

... did someone not read the Readme?
