I would go along with the child profiles automatically downloaded as being a big one for me, but another one that I have not seen mentioned is the ability to have multiple copies of the same UPC/Locality, I just hit the problem with a boxset where I have one if its child's as a duplicate of a title I have already got as a separate entry

Yep, I totally agree. An automatic download of child profiles for TV series would be a major annoyance for me. I would like to have it for movie box sets, though. Maybe an option to treat TV series and movie sets differently would be a good idea here.

Separate movie data from the media data. There is no need to hold e.g. cast&crew list for every media separately. One dataset for every movie is sufficient for this, with an little exception: if there is a difference, maybe a different cast list for a directors cut or a foreign release (e.g. additional voice actors for an animation movie), we need the chance to enter the different data.

And that is something I... and other people I know would be against. There is those of us that the promo trailers are just as important... if not more important then the trailer for the feature.

Trailers for movies other then for the feature of the DVD.

So... like the movie Hostel has trailers for...

...So promo trailer would be checked... but Feature Trailer would not (no trailer for Hostel).
