Edit:  And it's already transferrable to both the on-line and mobile displays.
Paul

That's because it's part of the image itself.

From what I have seen the HD DVD logo is usually also visible on the back cover.

Does the mobile unit allow you to see the back cover?

Correct.

But now show me where I can find it on my DVDPM

EDIT: and TAGS or NOTES do not transfer to DVDPM so that option is out

The HD ones will be the ones with square cover images and the rear covers tell you what HD format it is if you have both and need to differentiate with dvdpromobile.

Is the back cover visible on "dvdpromobile"?

You can’t!  And mobile is the most useful/convenient way to check and/or shop for discs when your away from your computer

It is but you don't appear to have it. I do and don't have a problem you can tell initially from the shape and if you wanted to check if it is Blu ray or HD DVD then look at the back cover (YES you can have back covers). Once again if you want that you can add whatever you want to your images. But to upload it when the majority don't want it uploaded is not right.

Yes. That option doubles the storage space required of course. At 75% quality, my db size is about 250 MB. On my PDA, at full-screen zoom, the HD DVD symbol on the back cover is about half a centimeter wide, which is about the width of 2 letters on this screen.

Would a Blu-ray icon be recognizalble?

No problem the square pictures are the HD DVDs this is only an issue if you have both Hd and blu ray then you have to look at the back but I just tried and found it easy enough to tell.

So the mobile version doesn't even handle notes or tags... this tells me that the program is far from complete and really shouldn't be a tipping factor in making a decision that will primarily affect the desktop version anyway.

Your side will never convince my side that we don't want or need this and vice versa. If the ruling is against the banners, I'll just scan my own covers and trade them with my friends.

I don't.   If I have to look on the back cover for a mini or microscopic blu-ray icon to see what format it is, especially with my eyesight, I don't think it  would be useful enough for me to have without a complete front cover scan for reference.

I don't know. I don't have the mobile version. And neither do you.

Dan W.

When are you going to change the “Option A: No Banner” example, that has the HD DVD picture with a Banner, to an example of an HD DVD picture without one?

I pointed this out to you the first day, which would have been time enough for you to give this poll some fairness and even ground.

You called me ridiculous to accuse you of that, but you haven't proved me wrong.  You still didn't change the one example that leaves doubt in ones mind that you truly are playing a game here, by literally "stacking the deck" in your favor and getting away with it.

You even boast about liking to play this type of game in your signature:
“Dan - Deck Stacker Extraordinaire

Give us a poll on fair even ground please.
