This is also the way AI was done and approved. The program uses a colon and a space to separate a group role from an individual role. I would use the same in the "nested" group headers for consistency. |

How many profiles would nesting actually help? How Many profiles would need more than 2?
The 2 that I have seen A.I. and Minority report, are the only ones that I have actually done with groups of groups.
Just pondering...

| Posted: | | | | The best option in my opinion is to drop the use of group headers for everything that doesn't have a group with separate roles under it. That will eliminate the problem.
Personally, and I stress that this is my opinion, I don't see the need for group headers when there are no group with separate roles. | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

Personally, and I stress that this is my opinion, I don't see the need for group headers when there are no group with separate roles. I agree with this completely. I'd prefer to do Minority Report (one example gven earlier) like this: Pre-Crime Tom Cruise as Chief John Anderton Max von Sydow as Director Lamar Burgess Steve Harris as Jad Neal McDonough as Fletcher Patrick Kilpatrick as Knott Jessica Capshaw as Evanna Keith Campbell as Pre-Crime Cops Kirk B. R. Woller as Pre-Crime Cops Klea Scott as Pre-Crime Cops Frank Grillo as Pre-Crime Cops Anna Maria Horsford as Casey Sarah Simmons as Lamar Burgess' Secretary Eugene Osment as Jad's Technician Because if we use the way ChalrieM, while completely according to rules so i'm not criticizing him, in my opinion we are inventing things the credits just don't show. Of course i you could also use Pre-Crime Cop if that decision is made. Paul | | | Last edited: by paulb_99 |

| Posted: | | | | Or the other option,
Eliminate them for what I call headers, Pre-Crime in this example, and only use them for the grouped roles (Pre-crime Cops), which is the thing they were for to begin with.
I don't understand, the wanting to catch the looks of the credits, because if we are then we don't have the tools to do it. I thought we wanted the data. | | | Last edited: by CharlieM |

| Posted: | | | | We do want the data and, in this example, Pre-Crime is part of the data. Not only is it part of the data, but it gives the rest of the data context. This group of people were Pre-Crime, this group were FBi, this group was in the Pre-Cog Chamber, etc. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
