[The first few posts here were on topic...]If we're going to change any one of the Cover Info–based fields including Distributor, Rating Details, Overview italics/bold, Regions (for Blu-rays) fields, we'll at least check all of them.  I'm not going to stop and do the additional Crew types or check Cast against Credits for every such update, I do those as I have time and/or watch the films, but I can at least give the BACK COVER a good look one time. | | Posted: | | | | Indeed, good post When I've been reformatting the overviews, I do tend to read what's already there in case any typos slipped through. In some cases I got so cross eyed I just redid the whole overview to play safe! Not saying that I'm immune from making mistakes but at least any that were there would be gone!!  I also do add the regions (checked against my region A & B players), rating details (even though I don't agree with the capitalising rule). I don't generally add distributors, because of the controversy surrounding the field. Perhaps I'll start after Ken adds the extra fields. |

If it ever came to a vote, I would vote with Unicus. Frankly, I think the bolding and italics ADD to the overview, but colour does absolutely nothing for me. I have many DVDs which are white on black, so let's not go crazy here, are we going to really try to incorporate that???? If it is bold, by all means bold it, if italicized, great. If purple.... ignore it. DD. |
