You talk of this Kathy?

This is on their computer monitor option. To get mine I right click my screen and select graphic properties, so I guess it's something like that for you too.

make sure Filters is checked in the list jimmy showed you... find your Filters tab (don't know where to tell you to look for it)  and then click the right/left arrows to find Formats.

I found it! Thank you guys. You learn new things all the time with this program.

My data was cut off too but I was able to fix it. I keep my layout locked so after unlocking it all I did was use the arrow, moving it to the right which made that section bigger.

The download section of Invelos has always bothered me in that it has never be kept out to date in changes in the profiler by Invelos or most of their authors.

I just looked at the layout section: 51 pages, 254 of them.

All the authors, especially for the layouts should specify the screen resolution range not simply high resolution. What was high solution years ago may now be medium, etc.

Since a lot of the layouts don't state the resolution they were designed for.
First thing to do is find the range of resolution your computer is capable of displaying.

I set mine to its max. Then I search for the layouts and downloaded those I might like.
Tried them and modified them and I picked one with the modifications and visible data I would like without selecting it and I saved it under a named I would recognize it, so in case I had to change or whatever.
I don't even remember what it originally was named as I've been happy with since I bought the system I'm using.

If and when I by a new system I'll probably have to go through the same process all over again to satisfy me and my new system.

They would be better placed below the rest of the content in that panel instead of their current placement.

Then people would start to complain that it'll take half of their vertical resolution and I would understand that much better since we don't live in 4:3 monitor age anymore.

And you want to talk about "idiocy records"? Now back to this Feature Request thread, what exactly is the nifty new function you'd like to see in DVD Profiler? A customizable interface? We already have it. You obviously didn't notice that we even have a forum where we discuss Layouts.

I like them exactly where they are now!

The best solution would be that those placements are made depending on the size of the window, being the year 2012 that should be possible, right?

You can, of course, make them visible by making the whole filter section wider, but for most layouts this is not really practical.

Another possibility: Do not incorporate the filters into the layout but simply switch it on as an extra window with Ctrl&f when needed.

Another pitiful post, Jimmy S, repeated harassment of another member is a bannable offense. Besides that religious discussions specifically are not allowed in any of the forums. It is to be hoped that Invelos and the forum moderators take care of you.

And who is the author of the default layout? I don't know, whoever, he should update his layout and correct the faults. What do you expect from Invelos, that they maintain every obsolete layout with every new or changed feature?

Um...are you serious?  By definition, the default layout is the one that comes with the program and is/was created by Ken so, yes, it is a reasonable expectation that he maintain said layout with every new or changed feature.

How is this religious? Is there some church of the troll which has escaped my notice?

It isn't, this guy is just an idiot who got an hard-on saying non-sense to got a reaction. Ignoring him is the best thing to do since he is one of the few here who rarely wrote something usefull.

Just see the ridiculous one liners he wrote to answer when someone ask him a question and he had nothing intelligent to say.

Funny to see that he isn't bright enough to understand that I won't read his reply to me unless somebody quote him...

Of course. First sentence in the thread: "Very few layouts show the format tab correctly"...

Like I said: 1. One cannot expect every Layout to be updated by Invelos. 2. There is no need for a new "function" (what this forum is about), the function is there, it is just a Layout problem.

If the default layouts are changed or updated, I would like the update or change(s) to be optional.

Or, if I have the program locked I don't want it to be overridden.

I'm used to the layout I've been using and I don't want it to change. I've tried other layouts and they just don't look "right" to me.

I've turned into my grandfather - I like things the way they are and at my age I don't want to get used to something new.
