I can't take full credit for the date code, it was easier to find someone else who had documented it than try to recreate it. 

The beauty of a scheduled task that kicks off the batch file is that it'll only kick it off when the computer is on AND you can optionally kick it off manually.  If there's not too much changed, it takes only seconds to backup, typically spent copying the ACTORS.BLB file.  You don't even have to be logged on, just the computer on, for it to run.  Or it can be kicked off immediately after you log in.
