These would throw things more strongly towards Nickson
She is credited Nickson in Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: DS9 and Babylon 5. | | | Updated List of Accepted Birth Years | | | Last edited: by Kluge |

A word of caution if i may. Remember that Credits are not necessarily universal across Regions, Localities or Versions. Nickson-Soul could be correct in one Region/Locality/Version and Nickson could be correct in another, and BOTH would be correct, to their particular copy.

A little reality check if I may: while you're right, variations have been known to happen, they're ultra-rare. As of yet, we've been able to find no more than two or three of such examples. Let's go out on a limb and multiply that with about a hundred - just for argument's sake. Then it's still no more than a drop in the ocean... So while the possibility certainly exists, the problem really shouldn't be overstated - if we're going to be too paranoid about this, we can kiss all those common name finding threads goodbye... To possibly help clear up some contribution- and common name-conflicts, and to maybe get a clearer view of how big an issue this really is, I've started a thread where we can collect these - I'm looking forward to your additions, Skip. |

| Posted: | | | | The best that can be said, Tim, is that we believe them to be rare. Based on my experience when it took less than a week to uncover the first one, I would call ultra-rare an exaggeration. The reality is that we don't KNOW just excatly how big a deal this is, but one such error introduced into the system is ONE too many. Don't expect much out of me in terms of help on this till my collection comes out of storage. Not that i don't want to, I do desperately but i just can't. I have access to maybe 100 titles at the moment...only because they have not yet been boxed andmoved to the warehouse.<sigh> Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

I've posted every example I remember being raised in the forums for the past eight-and-a-half years - although I'm sure there must have been at least one or two more. I'm interested to see if we can find some more occasions. |
