As it stands, it's looking very much like a Hong Kong release. The dual-language thing is standard (if not compulsory) for that country.
Are you sure that Hong Kong is NTSC? I always thought that since it was a UK area until not that long ago that it was PAL and Wikipedia agrees. Afaik, every HK release in my collection is NTSC (admittedly only two media companies, Universe and Mei Ah). Further to this, I believe most Asian countries are NTSC (I recall Thailand being PAL, and I'm not sure about Malaysia/Indonesia). | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

Most likely they'd choose to make NTSC-DVDs to have China as a market, no matter that they have PAL-broadcast in the city. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

According to their website, Chesky Records is based in the US. They have distributors in many countries. My guess is that it is a Region 1 US locality release. |
