I did say it's a grey area & any company that wants to cause trouble could do. By not having an option for spines, Ken can avoid the unnecessary hassle that at least would cost quite a bit of time & at most the business. |

| | Posted: | | | | this bookshelf idea was posted once before (don't think it was in feature requests however) but someone (i forget who it was) went through and took a bunch of their titles and changed them to spine like images (i dont think they actually scanned all the spines in, but just used the dimensions) and then used the thumbnail view to view it as a bookshelf. I would be intrigued by this idea but wouldnt want to have to scan the spines of my entire collection to do it. Though what would satisfy this as well as the 3-d view of cover images, and also (i think) address the legal issues is to make a local only field for other image. so you would have front, back, and other. other could then be used as spine for those that want that or a 3-d/alternate view of a specialty case. *edit* just found this link to another thread, didnt re-read the whole thing but it may be the one -Agrare | | | | Last edited: by Agrare |

| | Posted: | | | | Most of the Real reason why I don't prefer the spine view is because I can do that anytime with my head turned sideways looking over the these titles of my Hard collection in the other room..
That gives me a headache and I still couldn't find what I was looking for for..
The front and rear scans is all you need..
( now the real question is or should be.,, Why not scan the actual disc as 99.7% of the discs coming out since 1997 has silk screening and those are real cool to look at .. ) | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird.
