The credits put space between groups, so why shouldn't/can't we?

Aren't we going too far in trying to reproduce credits exactly as they are on screen ?  I find here the same non desirable drifting than bold and italics in overviews. We are no more profiling movies, it's becoming credit fetichism...

Why not just put screenshots of credits in photo gallery ? At least, there will be no more discussions to know if it has been correctly reproduced...

It's not a matter of trying to reproduce credits exactly as they are on screen in this case.  It's a matter of trying to show that some names which appear after a group identified by a header do not belong to that group.  That is more than simply trying to match the appearance of the cast list, it's an attempt to provide information.

Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges.

If Ken decide to use screenshots we will do that. In the meantime....

it was a joke. I have also in the past suggested (with a  ) that we should do away with having cast/crew entered and use two screenshots - one of cast, the other of crew.

This would provide for the ultimate in accuracy and the least possible functionality.

No more boring searching for cast etc. No more attempting at linking between films..

I know and I didn't say i agreed with the idea. In fact I think it would be a very bad idea. I am just weary of the endless arguments over BS and how to parse the Rules, and expert input from users who in fact have no basis for expert interpretations other than their own OPINIONS.

On the basis of 3.5 I have many thoughts on many of these questions and many more which I keep to myself.

Another reason why dividers are not suitable for group roles. I'd rather see a real group role feature request than this one.

But these aren't group roles.  I know this film, The Dark Crystal, and the cast list is seperated into different groups.  This type of cast list, in my opinion, is exactly what the dividers were meant for.

Dividers are used for those kind of group roles where we have a group name and an individual role name today. But I don't think that Invelos has designed dividers for that purpose. Otherwise we would not see the problem we have now (e.g. with the empty end divider). Imagine a real group role mechanism which could connect a group of credits together and allow a group role name and a individual role name for each credit. The linking system would know automatically of both role names. Then if we click on "Frank Oz" in a different profile the linking window in ninehours example would show both role names "Chamberlain" and "The Skeksis, Masters Of The Dark Crystal".
